PLEASE HELP OUR PUPPIES!

Please help! We recently rescued a litter of puppies and

their mother who were attacked by coyotes! This graphic

image shows just how serious the wounds were when

these puppies were found. At 6 weeks old, the vet believes

they had been in this condition for around 7-10 days.

The wounds were horrific and stunk from infection, but these puppies and their

mother were fighting for their lives. They just needed a little more help.

Your donation today will make a

difference! Please consider sponsoring

  Mama Faith, Gusto, and Spirit.

This is the Mama dog, our wonderful, loving, and sweet

FAITH. Can you see it in her eyes, how she was ready to

just give up? Imagine the horror of defending your pups

from an attack? Did she have babies that didn't make it out

alive? How did this undernourished, flea and tick covered

young dog manage to survive with her babies? We will

never know how she did it, but she needs your help. Please

consider donating today.

ALL Breeds are GOOD Breeds!

Welcome to our official home on the Internet! All Breed Rescue and Adoption, Inc is a very small nonprofit rescue serving Northwest Indiana and the Chicagoland region. We were incorporated in 2008 and strive to not only rehome shelter dogs, but to educate on the importance of spaying, neutering, and responsible pet ownership.

Our dogs are home fostered, which means they do not live in kennel runs or cages at a pound or humane society but instead live with our volunteers in their home. Dogs are socialized in a variety of situations, some of which include children, others that have cats and dogs. No matter your lifestyle, we can suggest dogs who might make perfect companions.

All Breed Rescue and Adoption (ABRA) takes in all shapes and sizes of dogs. We have made it a point to take in any dog as long as it appears friendly and adoptable. This means we do not work with dogs who have a known and documented history of aggressive behavior toward people.

The majority of our dogs are the large dogs that are harder to place. We take in a lot of lab and lab mixes, however, we have had everything from poodles to puggles to rotties to the bully breeds. Our rescue has taken care of a puppy with a missing eye, two adult dogs with eyes removed, two dogs with broken legs (one of which was amputated), and several heartworm positive dogs overlooked by the larger, no kill shelters and other rescue groups.

It's our belief that while some rescues want to impress with the numbers of pets they rehome, we want to impress with our commitment to the families and individuals who adopt from us and the animals who have come into our lives and into yours. Each dog has a story to tell, and the happy ending for our rescued dogs is within their reach--and yours.

Donate toward the care of homeless pets and give second chances to more deserving shelter dogs.

Featured Pet

Our featured pet for December is....Lily

This is Lily, a six month old bulldog mix. She is such a sweet dog, great with kids, cats, and other dogs. It can take her a few moments to get used to another dog as she wasn't well socialized early on, but she lives with large and small dogs and LOVES to play! She's still very much a puppy, so she's going to need to play!

Did we mention she is C-U-T-E???? Look at those ears and that bully girl smile!
